Instructions for registration as Advocate

  1. All Candidates should file / upload their applications online in Office / website of Karnataka State Bar Council.
  2. The following Original Documents shall be scanned and upload along with your application.
    1. Convocation or Provisional Law Degree Certificate issued by the University.
    2. All the Marks Card of 3 / 5 years LL.B. Degree Examination in chronological method.
    3. Proof of Date of Birth : SSLC Marks Card/ Cumulative Record.
    4. P.U.C./ Diploma/ JOC / 12th Standard Marks Card
    5. 3 Years Basic Degree Certificates & Marks Cards chronologically.
    6. Caste Certificate of SC / ST Candidate, in proof of caste.
    7. Address Proof – Aadhar Card / Passport / Voters ID Card
    8. Receipt for having paid Fees of Rs. 15,500/- for General Candidates/ Rs. 12,500/- for SC/ST Candidates which includes all the charges.
    9. Retired Employee’s have to pay Additional fee of Rs. 25,000/- (If Candidate is Retired Employee)
    10. Furnish Proof of Retirement and Relieving Order, if Candidate was in service.
    11. Upload the Passport size photos. (Photos should be taken in White Shirt, Black Coat without Band).
  3. Date of Enrolment would be intimated by SMS/E-mail to the mobile number / email furnished by the Candidate.
  4. Candidates should appear before the Enrolment Committee on the date of enrolment in full Uniform as per list published.
  5. In case the Candidates fail to appear on the date of enrolment, she / he has to pay penalty of Rs. 100/- and shall appear on the next date of enrolment.
  6. Enrolment Certificates and Identity Card will be sent by post and in case if it is returned Rs. 100/- has to be paid for resending the same.
  7. The documents / marks cards /certificates would be sent to the concerned Authorities / Colleges / Universities for verification and if the same found to be fabricated or false, necessary action would be initiated.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  1. As per BCI Rules 1999-2000, the applicant who was in service must produce Study Certificate from the Law College, if he/she has got admitted to LL.B. degree after 1998.
  2. The applicant who has crossed the age of forty years at the time of Enrolment shall produce an Affidavit on Rs. 20/-e- stamp paper (Format Enclosed)

Online Payments

This Online Payment System is provided by KSBC (Karnataka State Bar Council). The KSBC may update these terms from time to time and any changes will be effective immediately on being set out here. Please ensure you are aware of the current terms. The place of domicile for KSBC is Karnataka, India.

Please read these terms carefully before using the online payment facility. Using the online payment facility on this website indicates that you accept these terms. If you do not accept these terms do not use this facility

All payments are subject to the following conditions:-

The description of courses are specific to you (i.e. Programme Name, start and end date etc.) when you log in with your unique password. Normally payment is required in advance (i.e. before you commence your programme).

All Fees quoted are in Indian Rupees. The KSBC reserves the right to change the fees at any time.

Your payment will normally reach the KSBC account to which you are making a payment within two working days.

We cannot accept liability for a payment not reaching the correct KSBC account due to you quoting an incorrect account number or incorrect personal details. Neither can KSBC accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit/rupay.... supplier for any reason.

If the card supplier/ rupay... declines payment the KSBC is under no obligation to bring this fact to your attention. You should check with your bank/credit card/ rupay.... supplier that payment has been deducted from your account.

In no event will the KSBC be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of the use, inability to use, or the results of use of this site, any websites linked to this site, or the materials or information contained at any or all such sites, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory and whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages.

Refund Policy

If the Customer leaves the KSBC website before they complete their Programme, there shall be no entitlement to a refund of payment.

Refunds, if applicable, at the discretion of the Management of KSBC, will only be made to the credit card used for the original transaction. For the avoidance of doubt nothing in this Policy shall require the KSBC to refund the Fees (or part thereof) unless such Fees (or part thereof) have previously been paid.

Security

All payment details which are entered through this payment gateway are encrypted when the Customer, or third party making payment, enters them. Communications to and from the Service Provider's site are encrypted.

The KSBC shall not be liable for any failure by the Customer or third party making payment of Fees to properly protect data from being seen on their screen by other persons or otherwise obtained by such persons, during the online payment process or in respect of any omission to provide accurate information in the course of the online payment process.

Service Provider

Online Payments of Fees can be made by Credit card/ rupay or Netbanking. These payments are not collected by the KSBC directly but by the Service Provider.

Once payment is received by the Service Provider in cleared funds, the Service Provider will contact the KSBC to confirm the details of the successful payment made by the Customer, or third party making payment. On receipt of this confirmation the KSBC will confirm to the Customer that the payment has been received and accepted. In the event that the Customer does not receive confirmation within 14 days of making the payment it is the responsibility of the Customer to check with the KSBC that the payment has been accepted. The Customer shall remain responsible for the payment until such time as the confirmation as referred to until KSBC receives the money.

Privacy Policy
