Whenever any such advocate who has suspended his practice desires to resume his/her practice, he/she shall apply to the State Bar Council for resumption of practice.
The Enrolment Committee of the State Bar Council may order the resumption of Practice and return the Certificate of Enrolment with necessary endorsement.
PROCEDURE :
1. Fee of Rs. 25,000/- ( Either by Cash / By D.D. in favour of Secretary, Karnataka State Bar Council, Bangalore).
2. Rs. 200/- D.D. in favour of Secretary, Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
3. Self – application for resuming the practice addressed to the Chairman, Enrolment Committee, Karnataka State Bar Council, Bangalore.
4. Attested copy of the Relieving Order
5. Affidavit ( On Rs. 20/- e-stamp paper) stating whether he/she has not incurred any of the disqualifications under Section 24 A, Chapter III of the Advocate Act during the period of suspension.
6. Original Enrolment Certificates for endorsement ( Will be returned to the candidate after necessary endorsement).
The application for Resumption of practice will be placed before the Enrolment Committee for its order. Candidate has to appear before the Enrolment Committee in uniform on the date fixed for his appearance with necessary documents.
